Hight Concept

Demonium Salvarium is a game where players take on the role of demons trapped in a dead forest. Here, we hunt down the demons in the forest until we find a way out.

Theme

Old but new is the theme we chose for this game. The beat 'em up genre is famous for its strong retro feel and intense action. On the other hand, we added several new features that were not available in previous beat 'em up games, such as attack features, weapon switching, attack restriction effects, and weapons upgrades.

Key Features

1. Each attack launched has many effects (Hit stop, damage flash, hit impact vfx, screen and sprite shake and knockback)
2. The mechanism of flying sword attacks controlled by the mouse
3. Dome mechanism as a barrier against launchable attacks
